Student Review - Rooftoppers

Do you like books packed full of adventures  and tons of mystery?  If you do you should read Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell.
When the Queen Marie, a Victorian liner sunk, a small baby  girl was found lying within a cello case, floating in the English Channel. Charles Maxim, an unusual Englishman found this baby girl and raised her as his own, but in a very peculiar way. For example, Sophie does school work on the walls of their house and they use books as plates.  Sophie was always curious about her mom and one day set out with Charles to search for her mom in Paris, France, and from there on, the real adventure began.
Do you wonder why this book is called Rooftoppers? Read it to find out. I, myself rate this book a 3.5 out of a 5 because Rooftoppers’ dialogue is occasionally confusing but it has fantastic characters and a wonderful storyline.
