No matter what you call them Comics or Graphic Novels offer readers a wonderful visual way to enjoy a good book. Graphic Novels stretch across a wide range of themes and genres, including non-fiction. Not only are they a great way to motivate reluctant readers; their rich plot lines, dynamic character development and imaginative illustrations also have plenty to offer for stronger readers. Graphic Novels support visual literacy by requiring readers to understand sequence, interpret gestures or body language, and make inferences.
